Youth Month celebrated with Fun Walk

St Francis Primary School hosted a Fun Walk in celebration of Youth Month on Friday,  June 23.

The theme was “Caring for our Youth.” Learners, parents, members of staff and well-wishers displayed posters and placards whilst en route through the main streets of Park Rynie, highlighting the importance of the young and the challenges they face in modern society.

The remainder of the day was packed with fun activities and stalls on the school grounds. Learners enjoyed playing on the jumping castles and supporting the face painting, hairspray, hot dog, candy floss and trinket stalls.

The Umdoni Fire & Rescue Department offered a valuable demonstration on safety and rescue measures.
