Top honours for Scottburgh Primary School

Segran Naidoo (Principal), Chesney Pather, Annabelle van der Merwe, Dronan Moodley, Angelia Wood, Damon Cox and Mrs S Pillay (Deputy Principal).

The Grade 6 and Grade 7 learners of Scottburgh Primary School achieved top honours in the Annual Horizon Maths Challenge 2017.

These learners were placed in the “top 200” out of the 4 828 participants across Kwazulu-Natal.

Principal of the school, Mr Segran Naidoo, congratulated these learners on their excellent achievement and believes that the key to academic excellence lies in extending the learners beyond the boundaries of the classroom walls and exposing them to external Olympiads and Challenges.

The school is currently preparing the Grade Seven learners for the Nu-West Maths Olympiad, which takes place later this month.
