Umzinto Secondary School lends a hand

Proudly handing over their donation to Neil McDonald, CEO of Khanya Hospice, are learners and Interact Club members of Umzinto Secondary School.

Hospice was their choice of charity because of the free nursing care that Hospice offers.

“The learners know and understand that Hospice has to buy whatever it needs for quality patient care,” said Neil.

Mrs P Mahabeer, an educator at Umzinto Secondary School, hands over a cheque to Khanya Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald. This donation was collected by the staff of the school to contribute to the work that Khanya Hospice is doing in the area. Khanya Hospice offers free palliative nursing care to people with life threatening illnesses and support to their families.
