Women’s World Day of Prayer 2018 – a joyous occasion

Seija Wicker, Berris Bosse, Sarah Arulappen, Lorraine Reuters, Linda Tite, Wendy Toohey, and Marlene Hayes.

“All God’s Creation is very Good!” was the theme of this special day which was celebrated all over the world on the March 2.

The programme was prepared by the ladies of Suriname, a small country north-east of Brazil, with a population of only 350 000 people.

In Scottburgh it was hosted by the Presbyterian and Methodist ladies and was attended by ladies of all fellowships.

All were challenged to pray for, appreciate, and to do their bit to preserve our environment.

In her address, Cheryl van der Merwe emphasized that we are all at the pinnacle of God’s creation.
