Umkomaas Secondary School recently hosted its annual prom at the Amanzimtoti Civic Hall. The function was organised by the Social Sciences Department headed by Mr CPR Govender.

The function was a tremendous success and helped raised much needed funds for the school.

Mr CPR Govender presents guest of honour, Keshav Maharaj, with a token of
appreciation.

The theme for the evening was ‘Enchanted’ and it certainly was an enchanting evening.

It was an honour to have Proteas and KZN Dolphins cricketer, Mr Keshav Maharaj ,as the guest of honour, and celebrity Neil Govender, as the programme director.

The principal, staff, learners and members of the school governing body would like to place on record their sincere appreciation to all participants, their parents and families for their efforts in fundraising.

They would also like to thank all sponsors, service providers and community members who assisted in making the evening a success.
