New t-shirts for Scottburgh youth desk

Councillor Shara Singh of the Scottburgh SAPS Community Policing Forum (CPF) handed over T-shirts to Sergeant Topsy Khwela of the Scottburgh SAPS Social Crime Prevention for the members of the Scottburgh SAPS Youth Desk at a CPF meeting in the police station conference centre on August 8.

The shirts were sponsored by Councillor Singh, a member of the CPF while the Scottburgh CPF bore the costs of the custom designed printing on the shirts. The shirts will be worn by the members of the Youth Desk who will work closely with the Scottburgh SAPS Social Crime Prevention and youth in the community with the aim of creating crime awareness among the younger generation and educating them on the consequences of engaging in criminal activity.

Scottburgh SAPS Visible Policing Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Linda Chiliza, thanked Councillor Shara Singh and the Scottburgh CPF for their kind gesture which would go a long way in fostering a sound relationship between the police and the community they served.
