Librarians enlighten learners

Park Rynie library staff visited St Francis primary school on Friday, August 31 to have a talk with the grade 7 girls.

“Since it was the last day of women’s month we thought it would be great to visit the learners and give them a talk as young woman since they are faced with many challenges. At the same time we were promoting the library in order to highlight the importance of libraries. We informed the learners on how to apply for membership and who is eligible to apply.

We would like to thank the principal, deputy principal, the grade 7 educators and the school librarian for allowing us the opportunity to visit the school”, said librarian, Nokulunga.
