Don’t miss out on the ‘Connect Chat’

An ex Scottburgh High pupil will deliver a talk called ‘Well Connected’ at the Scottburgh High School hall on Friday, September 14 at 6.30pm. It is part of a series, which Christy Herselman has started called “The Chat”. Christy has delivered talks at many schools in and around Durban over the past few years and she is well researched in this very relevant topic.

The talk is aimed at parents, tweens and teenagers, in which Christy discusses the dangers of social media and how to raise healthy digital users. Parents from the primary and high schools are welcome at the talk. If parents have given their child a device, no matter what age, that connects to the internet they need to hear this talk. There will be child minding for under 12’s, as she will be discussing topics they might not be ready for, BUT vital for parents to hear.

Please note this talk is not affiliated with any particular group, we are simply wanting to empower our community and give parents and kids the tools they need to live healthy connected lives. For more information contact Janine Louw on 039-973-0515/084-410-4780.
